Chaetosphaerioid with dark, 4-celled spores on Salix, S Sweden, I.2020

Perithecia superficial, amongst af forest of dark erect conidiophores. Perithecia glabrous, shiny, becoming cupulate when dry. Centrum apparently of true paraphyses and unitunicate asci with a rather indistinct apical apparatus. Spores grey brown, 4-celled with constrictions at septa; ca. 13 x 5 µm. Asci 8-spored, spores uni-biseriate.
