Schizothecium
Gernot Friebes, 28-11-2010 16:48
Hi,

I would be happy if you could help me with this Schizothecium. The asci are tapering towards the apex, mostly biseriate and 8-spored. The brown cell of the spores is 22-24 x 13-15 µm and has a rather short, acute appendage on the one end and a thicker, longer, often incurved appendage on the other end (indicated by the arrow). I didn‘t see any hairs, only brown, agglutinated scales. Could it be Schizothecium conicum?

Best wishes,

Gernot

Hello Gernot.

I think that is good S.conicum determination.
Good evening.
Michel.
